As is the case with many tiny species, this Jumping Spider has no common name. At only about 1/8 inch long, it is obvious why it is often overlooked. Although most jumping spiders are tiny, many of them have bright colors and ornate patterns, making them worth a closer look. The male is pictured above. The female has different markings, including a stripe down the abdomen instead of the two spots, as well as no white stripes on the front of the cephalothorax.
